Rules and Regulations for Convocation Supplication
Convocation Application Requirement:
A student who has completed the graduation requirements must apply to be included in the upcoming convocation ceremony. This is called “Supplication” process. SLIIT will publish a notice indicating when the application process will be opened. Students must refer to the Courseweb (LMS) notice for the supplication details, as it is required to evaluate their eligibility for graduation. Those who do not follow the supplication process will not be included in the available graduation ceremony and degree conferment.
Late/non -submissions:
Students who miss the current convocation due to non-submission/late submission of the application may request to participate in the next available convocation. However, students must submit an application for the next convocation in the same manner, by referring to the course web notices.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for convocation, students must have successfully completed all degree requirements, including academic modules and non-GPA requirements, and must settle any outstanding payments by the effective deadline.
Convocation fee:
The convocation fee will be mentioned in the notice. Students must pay the convocation fee once they receive confirmation of their eligibility. It is sufficient to submit the payment confirmation when collecting the graduation kit.
