The service of formal verification of Course Outlines / Academic Transcript or Level completion degree or diploma certificate is a fee levying service offered by SLIIT Academic Affairs division. This service is offered for Graduated students, Ministries, Employers, Visa Agencies and Higher Education Institutes who wish to verify the documents submitted by their respective SLIIT degree diploma holding candidates.
Kindly note foreign degree pathway programs offered at SLIIT may only be offered the SLIIT component verification and the degree verification must be sought from the respective foreign university that the qualification is offered (Please refer the last section of this article).
SLIIT Programs - Verifications process and charges (Local)
Existing undergraduate are required to raise a ticket in https://support.sliit.lk/ >> Official documents and provide the requirement in writing, to receive the necessary instruction on how to proceed.
Graduated students and external parties are required to send the requests for verifications to lasantha.p@sliit.lk / Studentservices@sliit.lk.
Required Documents to be shared to start the verification process:
1. Verification Documents : Clear scanned copies of the required documents for verification.
2. Payment Slip : A copy of the payment receipt as proof of the transaction.
Verification Charges:
• For local verifications are charged LKR 5,500/-
• For foreign verifications (only for SLIIT Programmes) are charged LKR 13,500/-

Payments should be made in favor of ‘SRI LANKA INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY’ at the following bank.
Please indicate the SLIIT STUDENT’S REGISTRATION NUMBER as the Transaction ID

Once the request along with the payment slip is received, the verification document will be sent to the relevant parties within 5 to 7 working days.
Please note SLIIT is legally obliged to report candidates submitting forged documents in accordance with the Institute's policy and the applicable governing laws of the respective country.
